Micro-FAS: integrated fiber optics acceleration sensor
Abstract
(German)
MC-monitoring, develops and sells systems to monitor end-windings vibrations of power generation machines (eg. Turbo generators). The project goal is to develop a micro-machined fiber optics acceleration sensor (FAS) that will provide an effective response to evolving market demand: increasing of the instrumentation robustness and reliability. Additionally, the MEMS technology will significantly help reducing the manufacturing costs and reinforcing the company¿s competitive advantages. This technology will position MC-monitoring as a technological leader in its domain of expertise.
