Spottedmap is an innovative Web application that enables users to reconnect with people they meet randomly in everyday life, by helping to build communities among users who hang out at the same places (fixed and on-the-move). The project aims at supporting the integration of Spottedmap with the emerging technologies and advanced components targeting elastic cloud provisioning, mobile geo-localization, crowdsourcing, and augmented reality.
