Abstract (Deutsch)	he multi-chamber system (MCS) produced by Streamer International provides a simple, reliable, and cost effective device for lightning protection of power lines. The goal of the project is o significantly extend the market of the MCS by exploring a newly discovered effect known as mpulse quenching. To this end, a physical model of the device will be developed using a combination of physical experiments and numerical simulations.
