Investigation of long-term behavior of pour-glued end-grain connections

Abstract (German)

Connections in timber constructions are one of the most important features within every structure where nowadays mostly mechanical fasteners are used, but architects and engineers are not fully satisfied with the look like and the behavior. Therefore Timbatec objects to develop a bonding technology for end-grain respectively face-side pour-gluing of timber elements in order to produce any type of structure, as shown in the attachment, but many questions have still to be answered.
