The DGASP (Discrete Grid of wireless devices Able to Sense patient's Pulmonary edema) project comprises the|design and development of wireless multi-frequency segmental bioimpedance devices using off-the-shelf components|tailored to test the feasibility of a medical system that will help to monitor lung edema and fluid overload. The developed medical system will be part of an innovative home-based therapy monitoring system that will drastically|improve the quality of life of dialysis patients affected by renal impairment or end stage renal disease.
