Abstract

Development of means (HW/SW) to make sure that the quality of a laser micro-spot/seam- weld on medical metals is reproducible in itself and between the productions sites worldwide. Solution will be an all in fiber QCW-SM fiber laser system with an innovative processing head to influence melt-pool dynamics. Proper real-time control of laser and process signals will ensure robustness of process and manufacturing friendliness.
