Sustainability Standards in Operative Procurement (SOP)

Abstract (German)

The project aims at developing a pragmatic management concept for Swiss SMEs to include the active management of suppliers' social and environmental performance into existing operative procurement processes. In order to respond to stakeholder pressures, the firms' traditional operative procurement processes, objectives and responsibilities require ample changes in order to efficiently assess, select, and develop suppliers according to sustainability standards.
