Currently, Optotune tuneable lenses can reach a maximum tuning speed of about 600 Hz. This can already be considered fast compared to other technologies. However, there are several markets that demand even faster lenses that operate at 5 kHz, including laser shows and laser marking. This project aims to develop a lens capable of delivering the speeds necessary for these applications.
