This project aims at the feasibility demonstration of a new type of PECVD system, specifically dedicated but not restricted to the production of high-efficiency silicon heterojunction solar cells: the MIRROR reactor. Thanks to its innovative design allowing ultra-homogeneous both sides coatings of wafers without breaking the vaccuum, the fastidious handling of the substrates would be significantly simplified, leading to higher production throughput and yield, reduced costs, and to improved device performance.
