Abstract (German)

spiderSTIM is a revolutionary device to guide the placement of Deep Brain Stimulation leads used in the treatment of Parkinson¿s Disease. It provides the surgeon with new capabilities in neurophysiological navigation. The neurosurgical team can make better decisions before the chronic placement of the Deep Brain Stimulation system, which translates into shorter and less invasive surgeries with improved clinical outcomes.
