Coloured ceramic parts in watches for decorative purposes are extremely successful commercially. Due to|stability issues of the pigments, until yet red colours have not been realised in the currently used zirconia|ceramics. This project will develop red coloured ceramic composite materials with the use of different|colouring additives. The goal is to have a red bezel ready for exposition at the prestigious watch fair|¿Baselworld¿ in 2016.
