C-terminal Agrin Fragments as novel and unique renal marker

Abstract (German)

C-Terminal Agrin Fragments as novel renal biomarkers to improve patient care.|Recent work showed unique properties of agrin fragments in blood for monitoring of patients with end-stage renal disease. The biomarker shows high predictive power for transplantation outcome and is independent of hemodialysis.|The project scope is to develop an IVD assay, complete the necessary clinical validation and expand the scientific and mechanistic knowledge.
