This project aims at developing a compact beam steering unit for high power lasers capable of deflecting a laser beam at static angles with a high positioning accuracy. The system requires changing the deflection angle at high speed. This module will be based on the developments of the CTI feasibility study 14953.1. The major contributions will be the design and fabrication of a complete beam steering system with an integrated closed loop control system including sensing structures.
