DENEB2, Development of Integrated IR-UWB Technology for Secure Distance Measurement

Abstract (French)

The goal of this project is to develop a highly miniaturized hardware for a secure proximity-based access control system using a distance measurement principle. The validity of the proposed principle has been successfully demonstrated with a proof-of-concept prototype, and strong market potential is foreseen with the miniaturization of such prototype. This project will thus innovate with novel integrated hardware designs, and will deliver the first small-factor and low-power integrated technology brick to enable a complete secure distance measurement.
