The exact analysis of multi-component gas mixtures is of great interest for various applications. This project aims at developing a sensing platform for the simultaneous identification and quantification of mixtures of gaseous hydrocarbons. It will be based on tunable VECSEL laser modules (produced by Phocone) whose performance will be considerably improved within this project. Emphasis is put on the extension of the tuning range to study multi-component gas mixtures.
