Support to the Strengthening of the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM)

The overall goal of the project is to contribute to democratic governance reforms, institutions and processes in Africa. The impact hypothesis is that an effective African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) and the formulation and institutionalisation of African Mutual Accountability Standards will identify governance challenges in a participatory manner, discuss them at the highest level (Head of States) and lead to the adoption of governance reforms.
