Abstract (Deutsch)

The company, situated in the Jura vaudois, employs 800 people and specializes in endodontics by providing instruments, equipment and consumables for root canal treatments. To increase the efficacy of the clinical procedure, the company wants to develop new classes of nano-particles to be used as excipients in formulations for root-canal cleaning and disinfection. This two phase project foresees the design of two nano-particle classes, one with bactericidal, the other with abrasive/cleansing properties. These products addressing unmet clinical needs will increase the company¿s turnover by an estimated 5%, and will create up to 25 new jobs within the company.
