Abstract
(German)
Commercial Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) panels have now less than 100 cm2 light emitting area. For use in office and shop-retail markets, several OLED panels have to be coupled together to provide at least 10 times the light emitting area of a single OLED panel. As each panel has perceptively different emission characteristics, it is difficult to create a homogenous bright surface with such an assembly. It is the objective of this project to develop the necessary optical homogenizing technology to achieve uniform emission from an assembly of OLED panels.
