VoiCode® - Virtual Stereo, Surround and 3D Audio Processing System
Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Allemand)
swissaudec® licenses spatial audio processing technology. The first software product, developed by a Swiss licencee on its own account, significantly improves the sound quality to human perception by means of spatialization. swissaudec likewise reduces the amount of data required to represent, store, transmit or render the spazialized signal. Its IP has the potential to provide to ISO/MPEG a solution capable to convert N-channel audio content to a high-quality M-channel content in harmony with the end user¿s reproduction system. The project e.g. will deliver a 3D spatialization matrix that will be integrated into consumer devices. Three companies have signed letters of intent to acquire scientific deliverables of the project for their integration into current and new products, thereby increasing the functionality and quality of their generated audio content.
