Use of DNA-based Beacon Aptamers in pharmaceutical development
Abstract
(English)
Chemical and biological analyses of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) play a key role during drug development. However, commonly used analytical systems either lack specificity or require costly and complex machineries. Beacon Aptamer coupled with Surface Plasmon Resonance (BA-SPR) provide high specificity in a simpler system. Our work will focus on two APIs from the company¿s pipeline to develop and evaluate an innovative way to analyse API during drug development.
