Legionellen und Pseudomonaden sind Krankheitserreger in Hausinstallationen, die häufige, zum Teil tödliche Infektionen hervorrufen. Mit neuesten durchflusszytometrischen Methoden werden wir detaillierte Informationen über ihre Präsenz in Verteilsystemen und ihr Verhalten bei Desinfektionsprozessen erarbeitet. In Modellhausinstallationen und Fallstudien in ausgewählten Gebäuden werden dann neue und effizientere Kontroll-, Desinfektions- und Sanierungsmethoden entwickelt.
