Abstract
(German)
The MEASOS feasibility study will select and test optical measurement technologies suitable to characterize next generation mechanical watch oscillators. These oscillators will have properties largely different from the common balance spring mechanical oscillators based on Swiss lever escapements, such as increased frequency, small amplitude, and total lack of acoustic noise. Such properties make available measurement systems unsuited and a new generation has to be developed.
