Real Estate Bubble Report and Risk Measurement Toolboxes for Consumers
Abstract
(German)
In collaboration with Prof. Dr. Didier Sornette (ETH Zurich), Comparis develops online tools for people connecting to the Property: house and flat search division. In fast growing real-estate markets in Switzerland , the novel tools will provide essential and attractive functionalities empowering individual investors. Concretely, users of Comparis will be able to access easy-to-use state-of-the-art metrics of market development, including diagnostics and expectations of future prices, trends and the associated price risks for different scenarios involving the acquisition of a flat or a house. These tools shall better inform people, provide easily understandable on-demand risk metrics and allow direct simulations on the Comparis website. The developed tools and functionalities could also be transferred to markets abroad.
