FluidFM as sensor: from optical, mechanical and electrochemical biomolecular detection to single-cell PCR analysis
Abstract
(German)
iosensing at the single cell level is of central importance to address fundamental biological questions and for applications toward drug discovery. Under the umbrella of biosensing, we aim at developing three original lines of application opening new market segments for life science R&D. Based on our recently invented FluidFM technology, we will establish: i) mechanical and optical sensing with colloidal particles attached at the tip aperture; ii) single-cell extraction followed by PCR analysis.
