Renewable Energy System Compact Models for Assessment and Optimization (RESCOM-PLUS)
Abstract
(German)
The project RESCOM-PLUS is building on the results of the successful CTI project 9828.2 RESCOM. Based on the data mining approach developed in RESCOM, optimization is introduced as new feature. The main deliverables are: (1) The near real-time results in the planning tool should allow not only annual values (= result from CTI-9828.2) but also monthly values that describe the performance of the system. (2) The existing planning tool is extended with a new feature that informs about the optimal system design recommendations. Both deliverables will enable the planning tool Polysun to surpass its competitors and become a world-wide market leader.
