The aim of this project is to unambiguously demonstrate the feasibility of a portable device based on electron spin resonance (ESR) for material investigations. In particular we target an innovative ESR design that will be commercially very attractive in terms of cost and portability and it will be capable of detecting ESR responsive materials at magnetic field intensities achievable with a low power consumption device
