Enhanced modular autonomous car detection sensor for on-street parking management
Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Anglais)
The project goal is the development of a new parking sensor tailored for BMOB on-street parking monitoring system. The new system will posses innovative features with respect to the current BMOB solution and with the current commercial state-of-the-art competitor systems: 1. A better car detection sub-system based on frequency shifting in a resonator circuit when a car is parked. 2. An energy harvesting sub-system for the battery recharging and life-time prolongation. 3. Efficient and effective radio communication link (RF system plus antenna). 4. A tailored and low-power routing algorithm. 5. Adaptation of BMOB parking management application to the new wireless sensor node.
