Short description
(English)

The objective of the project is to support Voluntary Principles member company-driven Security sector reform (SSR) activities. The project consists of two phases conducted by the Geneva Centre for the Démocratie Control of Armed Forces (DCAF) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in collaboration with the Human Security Division. Phase 1 consists of a scoping study on SSR engagement of VPs member companies. Within Phase 2 an SSR guidance to support the engagement of VPs member companies with public and private security forces will be developed. While the input and expériences of VPs members will be prioritized, the guidance emerging from this project will be made available to all interested stakeholders.
