In this project, we aim to understand the plausibility of some classicaly-inspired explanations of quantum nonlocality through physical models that respect the non-signaling correlations. Our main interest lies on the socalled finite-speed hidden influence models, but the plausibility of other models that can be analyzed via similar tools will also be investigated. By the end of the project, we hope to come up with experimentally feasible proposal to verify/ rule out the plausbility of these models. In achieving these goals, we will also gain a better understanding of the structure of non-signaling correlations. This includes, for example, a better understanding of the peculiarity that non-locally-causal correlations can be deduced without a direct measurement.
