NanoCrypt: Printable nano encapsulated enzymes as security tagging systems for protection against product manipulation and forgery
Abstract
(Deutsch)
Product piracy and manipulation is a very severe problem in modern economy, affecting almost all kinds of industries. Therefore a unique, invisible, sensitive and difficult to copy, printable security tagging and indicator system is necessary, which allows to verify the authenticity of the products during the supply chain. The proposed project aims for the development of a new security tagging technology, based on encapsulated enzymes (e.g. peroxidases, phosphatases and others) in polymeric and protein nanocontainers, being compatible with modern printing technologies
