Der Entwicklungsgegenstand ist ein kostengünstiges, hochflexibles Umschlagsystems, welches Wechselbehälter und Standard-ISO-Container zwischen Eisenbahn und LKW unter dem Fahrdraht umschlägt. Da es mobil ist, können mit einem einzigen System mehrere Bahnanschlüsse bedient werden, was eine rasche Reaktion auf Kundenwünsche ermöglicht. Der Industriepartner wird damit europaweit kostengünstige skalierbare Transportleistungen anbieten. Das Ergebnis dieses Projekts wird ein Prototyp dieser Umschlagtechnik sein.
