Next Generation Laser Doppler Imaging
Abstract
(German)
Today, Laser Doppler Imaging (LDI) is well established for imaging microcirculation in skin. The main objective of this project is to develop a next generation LDI (1) to address new medical applications for reconstructive surgery; (2) to show and to proof their clinical relevance; (3) to visualize perfusion of muscle and bones by improved optics and signal processing; and (4) to add multi-wavelength illumination to map haemoglobin oxygen saturation in the skin.
