MIRASENS - Miniaturized InfraRed Absorption SENSor
Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Allemand)
The aim of this project is to develop an advanced optical sensor for measurement of carbon dioxide on the skin. The sensor will use infrared absorption to give accurate, stable and robust CO2 readings. The technological challenge is to do this in a sensor head that can collect the little amount of gas that is available and is small enough to be placed on a patient¿s earlobe or on a neonatal baby and can be manufactured at costs similar to today¿s technology.
