Optical Coherence Microscopy (OCM) enables functional brain imaging such as the mapping of stimulibrain-|response. In a step-by-step approach we intend to apply OCM for assessing the induced|impairments of Alzheimer¿s disease and to prove the efficacy of stem cell therapy. In close cooperation|between industry and academia we intend accelerating this novel therapy concept towards clinical use.|Besides the significant commercial potential, this project is of great importance for its social impact and|all the consequences for the health care system.
