MindMaze is developing a truly portable upper limb motor rehabilitation platform based on virtual reality (VR) & 3D tracking technologies. The combination of high resolution marker free motion capture, 3D Goggles and cognitive virtual reality exercises in compact devices maximizes independent practice & objective measurement for patients in the hospital and home setting. Current solutions are cumbersome, therapist dependent & seriously limit training time and brain recovery in the critical time window after a stroke, leading to less mobility and motivation for patients.
