Abstract (English)

Activen offers venom-derived active ingredients to cosmetics manufacturers. Focusing on recently identified potent and selective peptides, this project aims to accelerate their development through a collaboration with the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Geneva. Bioactivity, skin permeation, stability and toxicity studies will be conducted to select the best candidates that address the needs of the cosmetics industry. The project will allow Activen to commercialize innovative products with expected revenues of 1.6M in 2015.
