Abstract (Englisch)	The DC brushless motor manufacturing is a very rapidly growing market due to their high efficiency, small size and quiet operation. We intend to design a new and fast sensor chip for detecting the rotor position and control the current commutation in the windings of such a motor. This IC will be based on particular sensor architecture, recently developed, patented and tested by Sensima Technology. The latest highlight in the Sensima¿s development is a fast sensor demonstrator which is able to provide the instantaneous position of a shaft with an 10-bit resolution within 2ìs.
