Abstract

A new HW/SW platform is developed for all USYS-integrated product families allowing:|1. Offer flexibility for future expansions/adaptations.|2. Offer to customers the possibility to customize the SW|3. Simplify production and logistics and reduce costs, thanks to the unifications into a single modular USYS HW/SW platform.|4. Offer higher performance necessary to move data from acquisition boards to processing boards, to implement computingintensive|algorithms (e.g. FFT), and to synchronize different devices.|5. Design and test controllers in-house using a development environment, which includes a rapid control prototyping system|(simulation- and code generation) and a hardware-in-the-loop test-bed.|6. Offer control systems for physical foam cable lines.
