Abstract (English)	The main objective of this project is to acquire a detailed understanding of electromagnetic interaction in the near-field region between a microwave sensor and turbine blades; and based on this understanding, to extract a simplified electromagnetic model which can further help to enhance tip clearance measurement performance for landbased gas turbine and aeroengine applications
