SBPL-TOP - Smart Broadband Power Line TOpology Protocol to enable autonomous network deployments in medium voltage grids for smart grid applications
Abstract
(German)
The complexity and large-scale nature of Medium Voltage power grid networks provides significant challenges for the deployment of smart grid applications. CTI pursues a product innovation based on Broadband Powerline (BPL) technology with the goal to significantly reduce the required efforts and costs for the deployment. For that goal in this project a smart BPL network access control and routing protocol will be developed in order to enable autonomous network deployments.
