Ziel des Projektes 'Smart bed information and communication system for an advanced health care¿ ist die Entwicklung eines modularen Kommunikations- und Visualisierungskonzeptes für ein innovatives Monitoring System. Die Vitaldaten werden direkt im Bett erfasst und ausgewertet. Das Einsatzgebiet des Monitoring Systems umfasst alle Bereiche ausserhalb der Spitäler, nämlich Pflegeheime, die häusliche Pflege und den Privatbereich.
