X-Rite Europe GmbH in Regensdorf is developing a new family of products. The goal of the proposed project is the accelerated completion of the first product of this family. This innovation will replace established ¿analog¿ material sample catalogues with a highly realistic, digital, interactive computer simulation running on mobile devices. For that purpose, an HDR testing environment will be set up to evaluate computer simulation models, to optimize the visualization (rendering) and to design specific tone mapping concepts.
