Mit dieser Integration des Strassenunfall-Registers in das Management-Informationssystems Strasse und Strassenverkehr (MISTRA) des ASTRA wird es möglich, die Unfalldaten mit weiteren ASTRA-Registern zu verknüpfen. Insbesondere betrifft dies:

• Register der Administrativmassnahmen (ADMAS)
• Fahrberechtigungsregister (FABER)
• Fahrzeug- und Halterdatenregister (MOFIS)
• Basissystem von MISTRA (BS)
• sowie weitere Daten

Dieser neu geschaffene Datenpool ermöglicht detaillierte Auswertungen verschiedener Faktoren auf das Unfallgeschehen. Das diesbezügliche Forschungspaket „Verkehrssicherheitsgewinne durch Datapooling und strukturierte Datenanalysen“ besteht aus insgesamt 7 Teilprojekten. Die Teilprojekte behandeln die Bereiche Mensch/Gesellschaft, Situation/Infrastruktur, Fahrzeug, Wetter, medizinische Folgen und volkswirtschaftliche Kosten.

Die Paketleitung soll die verschiedenen Teilprojekte des Forschungspakets koordinieren und die administrativen Belange des Forschungspakets übernehmen. Zudem soll sie in einem Forschungsteil die Syntheseberichte des FP erarbeiten sowie Workshops, Tagungen und Sitzungen mit der Begleitkommision organisieren.

Short description (English)

With the integration of the Road Traffic Accident Register in the Management Information System for Roads and Road Traffic (MISTRA) of the of the Swiss Federal Roads Office (FEDRO), it is possible to link accident data with data of other FEDRO registers. In particular, this concerns the following registers and information systems:

• Register of the Administrative Procedures (ADMAS)
• Driver Authorization Register (FABER)
• Vehicle and Owner Data Register (MOFIS)
• Base system of MISTRA (BS)
• as well as other data

This newly created pool of data allows detailed analysis of various factors on accident rates. The proposed research package “road safety gains through datapooling and structured data analysis" consists of 7 sub-projects and is divided into two phases. The scientific sub-projects examine the fields of persons/society, situation/infrastructure, vehicle, weather, medical consequences and economic costs.

The package management will coordinate the scientific sub-projects and leads the administrative needs of the research package.  Furthermore, it will be responsible for the synthesis reports of the research package and organize the workshops, conferences, and meetings with the accompanying commission.

Ziel der Paketleitung ist es die verschiedenen Teilprojekte des Forschungspakets FP „Verkehrssicherheitsgewinne durch Datapooling und strukturierte Datenanalysen“ zu koordinieren und die administrativen Belange des Forschungspakets zu führen. Zudem soll sie in einem Forschungsteil die Syntheseberichte des FP erarbeiten, die zu bearbeitenden Forschungsfragen koordinieren sowie Workshops, Tagungen und die Sitzungen mit der Begleitkommision organisieren.

Project aims (English)

The aim of the package management sub-project of the RP "road safety gains through Datapooling and structured data analysis" is to coordinate the scientific sub-projects and to lead the administrative needs of the research package.  Furthermore, it will be responsible for the synthesis reports of the research package, coordinate the reasearch questions to be answered in the RP and organize the workshops, conferences, and meetings with the accompanying commission.
