Based on the Institute for Security Studies' proven expertise and network on the Great Lakes region, this project aims to develop regional strategies for conflict prevention and sustainable peacebuilding in the region. It contributes to strengthening regional capacities and informs decision-makers in Burundi, Rwanda, DRC, Uganda as well as regional bodies such as the EAC, AU and ICGLR.
