Entwicklung eines thermotropen Polymerblends, welches, als Bestandteil des Solarabsorbers in einem solarthermischen Flachkollektor, als Überhitzungsschutz agiert. Aufgrund eines geringen Reflexionsvermögens im kalten Zustand soll der Verbund aus thermotropem Polymerblend und Absorberschicht die Solarstrahlung möglichst gut absorbieren. Im heissen Zustand soll durch die dann hohe Reflexion des thermotropen Polymerblends die Absorberschicht vor weiterer Aufheizung geschützt werden.
