Design, Fabrication and Calibration of a Miniature High Precision Three Axis Hall Sensor
Abstract
(German)
The project covers design, fabrication and calibration of a miniature three axis Hall sensor together with its implementation in a device for measurement of magnetic fields. The novel approach of the sensor form will allow measurements of the full field vector in three dimensions in a single point in space at time with unrivalled spatial resolution. The calibration method provides a simple and effective way of transforming the voltage measurements into magnetic values free of spurious readings like those from the Planar Hall Effect. Typical applications are in magnet development and diagnostics for research and medical facilities.
