ArmeoSenso ¿ new home therapy and assessment solution for patients with upper extremity impairments based on wearable movement sensors
Abstract
(German)
Engaging patients in rehabilitative exercise at home will deliver more therapy at low cost. Today, no technical solutions for home-therapy are commercially available. The proposal introduces a revolutionary solution which engages the patient and provides reliable monitoring of progress. The initiative builds on extensive knowledge of ReLab in wearable motion sensors and on expertise in clinical rehabilitation of UZH and Balgrist. The successful market introduction is ensured by integrating ArmeoSenso into Hocoma¿s successful Armeo Therapy Concept.
