Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Anglais)
The aim of this multidisciplinary collaboration is to investigate and demonstrate new and unique capabilities of the digital holographic microscopy technology for monitoring and exploring the action of active molecules in physiologicallyrelevant cellular events. It triggers novel applications in life sciences and in particular in the field of drug discovery. These label-free methodological approaches offer still unexplored possibilities for designing new informative phenotypic assays, and represent a clear breakthrough competitive advantage over current fluorescence-image based screening assays noticeably in term of non-invasiveness and measurement speed. These innovative high content screening procedures will lead to new important commercial developments and provide the necessary experimentation data and scientific publications to constitute the basis for the marketing and sales of digital holographic microscopy (DHM) devices for a range of imaging-based cellular screening applications.
