Intradermal Rabies Immunization using NanoJect TM
Abstract
(Englisch)
Debiotech received in 2008 the CTI Medtech Award for its innovative NanoJect microneedles and further succeeded in manufacturing functional and reproducible devices. The major obstacle today is the lack of human clinical data relating to intradermal injection of drug, in particular vaccines, with NanoJect. The aim of the project is to demonstrate the efficacy and clinical benefit of NanoJect in collaboration with one of the leading academic research centers for vaccines in Europe. It will thereby give Debiotech the access to the highly dynamic vaccine market.
