Dynamic field cameras for enhanced MRI
Abstract
(German)
In magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), atomic nuclei are observed under the influence of rapidly varying magnetic fields that need to be generated with extreme precision. Imperfections of the field evolution result in image errors. Therefore, spatially resolved high-speed field measurements would be of great value for R&D, calibration, quality assurance, and maintenance of MR systems as well as for image reconstruction. The goal of the present project is to develop a versatile measurement device for this purpose, the so-called dynamic field camera.
